A selection of Nålebind items that I have made and some pictures and quotes from my happy customers with my products .

"Thank you Judith for my new viking socks and gloves.
I love the colour.
Hopefully these will prevent me freezing in November!"

"Hi Judith,
I thought I'd send you a photo of my finished fingerless gloves....a new addition to my winter reenactment wardrobe! Mary and I really enjoyed our day with you at the Weald and Downland museum, Mary has since purchased a book on Nalbinding from a german museum and I have found the same one on Amazon and taught myself York stitch.
The gloves pictured, started as an experiment that grew into a project....no pattern and I didn't write down what I did for the first one, so when it worked I had to do my best to copy it for the second one!
I now have the wool for a pair of socks and having tried York stitch, I think I will use Oslo stitch as it doesn't twist!
Hope this shows you what a success the day was....I know a couple of people struggled and you wanted us to progress a bit further....but as far as I was concerned it was fantastic and certainly inspired me!
I do hope you'll continue to teach such a fascinating craft!
Best wishes,
Maggie "
